Reality check

Friday, September 29th, 2006
Hello folks, how's everything been going? As some of my friends may know, I've been quite troubled lately with a lot going on in my head. Plus I'm sort of having a tug-of-war within myself of trying to adjust to life back in Malaysia and wanting my Australian life back. I'm also seriously questioning the purpose of this website. Initially it was set up as a way for my family members and friends to keep in touch with me and essentially be updated on what I've been up to. I've realized this a long time ago, but now it's beginning to be a problem -- privacy. I had no problems talking about general stuff in life and giving my two cents worth on a… Read More

Show some respect, fools!

Thursday, September 7th, 2006
In continuance with my post on Steve Irwin's tragic death, just like the thousands (millions?) of people who've heard the news, I've been scouring the net and watching the news consistently, consuming every bit of information that still hasn't completely sunk in. I've been talking to my friends about it, and I've also been reading the comments of hundreds of netizens throughout the web. What irks me though, is how some people can still knock Steve Irwin in his death. The Australians who find Irwin embarassing, the people who claimed that he deserved… Read More

Rest In Peace, Steve Irwin
It's still seems unreal to know that you're gone. I was just watching a re-run of one of your shows a couple of days ago! At least your legacy will live on. You're a bloody legend, Steve Irwin, and Australia and the world misses you. Steve Irwin, Crocodile Hunter, ladies and gentleman.… Read More

What shits you talking har?

Typical Malaysian verbal grammar misfirings: "Eh, you rocks lah!" "Can we go pick up some stuffs before I go shit ah?" "He commit[ed] siucide because he was depressed" *phew* Now that I've gotten those outta my chest, there'll be more to come later. I'll prolly leave out rojak and Engrish phrases/words. Kenny… Read More

X is for xenophobe

Friday, September 1st, 2006
Today, I saw a squiggly picture on the net of a badly drawn person yelling out:
Can we please invent more words beginning with x so that every children's book in the universe does not say "x is for xylophone"?
I concur. HahRead More
