Even though I found myself with less and less things to do in Perth in the days leading up to my departure, I still felt a reluctance to leave the place which has been my home for about 4 months. The last night was the hardest. Katie, my American housemate, knocked on my door in the afternoon to wish me goodbye as she was leaving earlier than I was. It happens to me every now and then -- just feeling a little low even though I have no reason to be. I've been feeling this way for about a week now, dammit. I'm collecting my flight tickets tomorrow and leaving Perth this Saturday. I have this nagging feeling that I should be doing something or that I need to do something before I go, but I haven't figured it out yet, dammit. It's been about two weeks since tossing my last couple of assignments into the assignment bin, but the semester won't be officially over until two more weeks.
