Fancy a scorching barbie, mate? Barbeques -- one of the many favourite Aussie pastimes. The other day, I was invited to two barbeques two nights in a row. In just a few days leading up to the beginning of the semester, I became Super Tourist, and eargerly visited some of the more popular places to, well, visit. Amy, Gerard, and fellow Malaysian Marilyn, automagically became my tour guides for the day, and brought me to try the famous fish & chips at the Fremantle port. The food was great but a tad oily since the freshly fried food is tossed into a paper carrier for customers without dripping off most of the oil first.
